The Haskell Programmer will design, install, configure, and test specialized software.

Status: Full Time

Location: Remote

General Duties

General duties include without limitation:

Write tested high – performance, maintainable code in Haskell
Deliver working software in short sprints
Help invent novel solutions for hard problems
Help grow our engineering team
Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university in Computer Science or related field and two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Significant experience with Haskell to build production systems or complex personal projects, or to make major OSS contributions
Skilled at working with SQL relation databases. Experience with MS Sql Server is a plus.
Experience building REST API services using functional languages and design principles
Strong problem-solving skills
Strong trouble shooting skills
Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills

Considered a plus:

Experience with Purescript or Ghcjs (reflex)
Experience with Docker deployment and Continuous integration
Able to work in small, self-sufficient team with the shared goal of delivering excellent software anchored in an agile culture of quality, delivery, and innovation
