How Do You Join?
The MentorLink Program runs in scheduled 8-week sessions throughout the year, and both mentors and mentees are encouraged to apply for participation. While space is limited and not all applicants will be selected immediately, those who are will be thoughtfully paired with mentors based on language, specialization, goals, and other key factors. If not selected right away, don’t worry—there may be future opportunities in upcoming sessions! The program is conducted entirely online, including all workshops and group meetings, making it accessible to participants regardless of location. *However, if a mentor and mentee are in the same geographic area, they are welcome to meet in person for their one-on-one sessions.
Who Can Participate?
The MasterWord MentorLink Program is open to MasterWord language professionals. *External applicants are welcome to apply but must be onboarded with MasterWord before they can be selected as a participant in a program session.
What is the Selection Process?
Participants will be selected based on their experience, development goals, and their ability to commit to the entire 8-week program. Due to limited spots in each cohort, not all applicants may be selected for immediate participation. However, eligible applications will be retained by our team and considered for future sessions.
What is the Commitment?
The program includes one-on-one meetings, virtual workshops, personalized feedback, and fosters long-term professional relationships for ongoing support during the 8-week session. This provides ample time for meaningful connections and personal development. Expect to spend approximately 30 minutes per week meeting with your partner, scheduled at a convenient time between mentor and mentee. The program also includes a minimum of two professional workshops, each lasting 60 to 120 minutes, designed to enhance skills and knowledge in the language services industry. Additionally, participants will join a kickoff group meeting at the start of the program and a closing meeting at the end of the 8-week session.
