At MasterWord, we take a strong stance against human trafficking and the exploitation of vulnerable populations, including children. We are honored to be an active participant in global and local initiatives aimed at eradicating these heinous crimes. As a member of the United Nations Global Compact and Texas Businesses Against Trafficking (TBAT), we align our practices with the highest standards to ensure a zero-tolerance policy towards human trafficking in our supply chains and corporate operations as well as zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material (CSAM) on corporate networks and devices.
Our leadership in language services is complemented by our responsibility to protect human rights across all areas where we operate. We recognize the devastating effects of modern-day slavery and are committed to creating systemic change by fostering ethical business practices that protect individuals worldwide.
MasterWord employs cutting-edge technology to uphold our zero-tolerance policy on human trafficking and child exploitation. Our partnership with NetClean ensures that we are proactive in detecting and preventing the distribution of child sexual abuse material (CSAM) on all corporate networks and devices. NetClean ProActive works by detecting CSAM, defined by law enforcement, and assists in identifying, reporting, and addressing the consumption of such material. This tool is critical in helping to protect children and combat criminal activity related to exploitation.
Through these measures, we contribute to a safer digital environment while supporting the global fight against human trafficking. Our governance policies mandate that all employees, contractors, and suppliers are fully aligned with these principles, ensuring a united front against exploitation.
MasterWord’s corporate policies are fully aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Target 8.7, which calls for the eradication of forced labor, modern slavery, and human trafficking. We are committed to advancing these goals through our actions, supply chain management, and employee engagement.
As a signatory of the UN Global Compact, we believe that corporations play a vital role in tackling some of the world’s most pressing issues. By promoting sustainable, responsible, and ethical business practices, MasterWord contributes to the global efforts to end human trafficking, in line with SDG 16, which promotes peace, justice, and strong institutions.
MasterWord is dedicated to transparency in our operations and invites our partners and the public to explore our resources on human trafficking prevention.
