Ludmila Golovine

President & CEO

Ludmila “Mila” Golovine founded MasterWord in 1993 and still leads the global language-solutions company through its growth. She couples sharp entrepreneurship with social-impact drive—advancing trauma-informed language access, mentoring Indigenous-language projects, and co-launching the Interpreting SAFE-AI Task Force. Under her watch, MasterWord became the first language-services company recognized as Vicarious Trauma-Informed and now ranks among the world’s 50 largest LSPs. A sought-after speaker and anti-trafficking advocate, Mila’s work has earned honors from EY, NCIHC, and the Houston Business Journal.

Ian McKamey

Executive Director, Interpreting Services

Ian McKamey leads MasterWord’s Interpreting Services team. A certified Vietnamese interpreter, he spent seven years directing one of the nation’s first large VRI providers, fine-tuning a model many still emulate. His career has also ranged into international trade and import–export, giving him a keen eye for commercial realities that shape client programs. Off the clock, Ian writes and records music with local and international collaborators, proof that his creative and operational sides stay in constant conversation.

Alexander Zinchenko

Head of AI & Digital Transformation

Alexander Zinchenko steers MasterWord’s global translation programs while mapping the company’s AI future. With a background in language tech, he has fused machine-learning know-how with seven-language fluency to deliver seamless solutions for Fortune 500s, hospital systems, and public agencies. From rolling out neural MT engines to mentoring project managers, Alexander keeps quality and access front and center, whether localizing energy-sector manuals or building Indigenous-language keyboards. His work on the Mayan Languages Preservation & Digitization Project reflects his commitment to digital language access.

M. Cody Francisco, MS, CDI

Director, Deaf & Hard-of-Hearing
Director, Proposals & Business Development

M. Cody Francisco advances MasterWord’s Deaf and Hard of Hearing services while steering a proposal engine that secures new business across federal, state, and commercial arenas. One of the Houston area’s few Certified Deaf Interpreters, Cody previously held leadership posts with a national video-relay provider and several interpreting agencies. His expertise spans legal advocacy, emergency response, and medical settings, and he continues to mentor future interpreters through adjunct faculty work and industry training.

Ryan Foley

Director, Communications

Ryan Foley shapes MasterWord’s brand voice and thought-leadership strategy, drawing on experience at the intersection of interpreter education, AI safety, and strategic storytelling. A former nationally certified sign language interpreter, he built accredited training programs for classrooms and hospitals before advising Fortune 500 companies and public agencies on cultural intelligence and nonverbal communication. Since 2023, he has also volunteered with the SAFE-AI Task Force, translating current research into practical roadmaps that guide responsible AI adoption across the language-services sector.

Marina Guevara, MBA, PMP

Director, Compliance & Quality Management

Marina Guevara guides MasterWord’s compliance and quality agenda, blending inside-the-business know-how with a Project Management Professional’s discipline. Since joining in 2007, she has rotated through nearly every function from complex managed services, to specialized recruitment, marketing, international operations, and core service delivery. This enabled her to build a 360-degree view of what “good” looks like. Today she steers quality systems, internal audits, and risk programs, translating regulatory requirements into scalable routines that protect client outcomes and keep continuous improvement moving forward.

Ahmed Abdulmajeed, MD, MHA

Strategic Solutions Executive

Ahmed Abdulmajeed pairs a physician’s eye for patient care with a strategist’s sense of scale. After earning his medical degree in Iraq and practicing pediatrics through cardiovascular surgery, he moved to the United States and specialized in interpreting for high-acuity hospital settings. Today, he advises schools, health-systems, and public agencies on building language-access programs that work in real life, drawing on clinical insight, a master’s in healthcare administration, and deep knowledge of government and commercial contracting.

Graciela Zozaya

Strategic Solutions Executive

Graciela Zozaya advises government agencies and healthcare networks on interpreter compliance and program design. Her career spans courtroom interpreting, Hispanic-market localization at Lopez Negrete Communications, and ten years managing language services at Texas Children’s Hospital and Harris Health System. She also advances talent development, building Indigenous-language interpreter curricula and teaching at the University of Houston-Downtown. A Certified Medical Interpreter and Master Licensed Court Interpreter, she served four years on the NCIHC board and now volunteers on two of its committees.
