Olga Daggs is the Manager of MasterWord’s Translation Division. She leads our on-site team of Project Coordinators, Desktop Publishers (DTP) and Translation Memory (TM) Specialists. Under Olga’s expertise, our team manages complex, multilingual projects, conforms to client budgets, adheres to delivery deadlines, manages style guides and glossaries and supports all the other critical processes for successful translation projects. Olga manages groups of linguists ranging from 5-100 freelancers for any given project while consulting and strategizing with clients on a daily basis, tailoring projects to individual client specifications, timelines and budgets.
Olga is an accomplished interpreter/translator. Prior to joining MasterWord in 2006, Olga worked as a freelance interpreter/translator for multiple clients based in Russia. Olga has traveled extensively and lived in the UK and China. Olga graduated from Tula State University (Russia) with a Bachelor’s Degree in Linguistics.
In addition, Olga successfully completed the Localization Certificate Program at the University of California and regularly attends industry seminars gaining hands-on experience with the most innovative translation and localization tools. Olga is fluent in both English and Russian.
