• Responsible for ensuring LP compliance with all applicable documentation requirements set forth by MasterWord, its clients for whom LP may provide services and regulatory entities.
• Functions as the point of contact for Language Professionals and the liaison between MasterWord and the Language Professionals (LP).
• Confers with Director of Compliance & Quality Management to identify LP needs, concerns recognition and disciplinary actions.
• Screens and refers LPs for assessments or additional training if needed to ensure they meet the requirements.
• Holds frequent meetings with LPs to seek their input and keep them abreast of what is new at MasterWord concerning their services.
• Coaches Language Professionals as needed on disciplinary or ethical issues as they arise.
• Performs regular LP group coaching regarding interpreting technique, ethics and standards of practice.
• Maintains Language Professionals’ compliance records.
• Maintains and manages LP Requirements and Requirements Templates in the ERP.
• Sends certificates of appreciation on a regular basis to Language Professionals for outstanding performance at their assignments.
• On occasion may be requested to attend assignment locations to observe the Language Professionals’ adherence to MasterWord’s and industry Standards of Practice and ethical guidelines.
• Analyses and finds new ways to keep Language Professionals engaged with MasterWord.
• Other duties as may be assigned by management.
