Job Description

The Instructional Design Specialist will identify, implement, manage, and ensure successful execution of training and assessments for staff and clients.

Status: Full-time

 

General Duties

  • Directly assists the Manager of the Training & Assessment Division and operations management team with delegated daily tasks
  • Work within budget to launch marketing campaigns through various outlets, including social media
  • Perform administrative tasks related to the organization and execution of training events and assessments for staff and clients, including collaboration with evaluators, trainers and developers, logistical support, registration and scheduling, and excellent customer service
  • Conducts initial sales calls with website leads and those responding to email or social media about training and testing opportunities
  • Ability to discuss training and testing offerings with potential internal and external prospects
  • Assist in preparing reports, spreadsheets and presentations, keeps and archives meeting minutes
  • Performs occasional after-hours support based on business needs
  • Represents MasterWord Services at conferences/exhibits and professional organization events
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Strong organization and prioritization skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Fluency in spoken and written English language (fluency in English and a second language is a plus)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective business writing skills and critical thinking ability
  • Able to multi-task with high quality output
  • Proactive, resourceful, excellent problem solver
  • Ability to work with diverse groups, excellent interpersonal skills
  • Must have advanced skills in Microsoft Office programs, Moodle, and Articulate Storyline software
  • Excellent research skills
  • Experience with event planning websites as well as website management

 

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
