Vice President of Customer Engagement
HOUSTON, TX – July 30th, 2020 – We are proud and excited to announce that Yvan Hennecart has joined Masterword as Vice President, Customer Engagement. Hennecart is an executive-level business leader with more than 25 years of experience working in solutions architecture for global content creation, management and distribution in Asia, South America and Europe.
Founder and President Ludmila (Mila) Golovine describes his appointment as a strategic driver to consolidate recent growth and accelerate further expansion efforts; “Yvan is well known industry-wide for his excellent track record in creating value and revenue growth. We all welcome him to Masterword and Houston.”
Hennecart’s specializations are Translation and Interpretation (T&I) Services and Language Technology. He is fluent in English, French, Dutch, German and Spanish. He earned a Master of Arts in Language and Interpretation from the Université libre de Bruxelles (formerly ISTI) and a Certificate in Spanish translation from the Association pour la Promotion de l’Etude des Langues Modernes in Brussels. Since 2015, he has been a lecturer on localization technologies and methodologies at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok.
His background includes leadership roles in account management, strategic planning, execution and change management. As Vice President of Operations for the UK-based Content Services company SDL, Hennecart ran the fastest growing business unit. Most recently he led Content Operations for HOOQ TV, Asia’s premiere streaming content platform where he worked on a patent-pending, technology-driven process utilizing voice morphology and artificial intelligence to deliver dubbed content. SmartDub was awarded “Innovation of the Year” at LocWorld’s Process Innovation Challenge in 2019 in Silicon Valley, a leading conference for localization, translation, and global website management.
